Skiing
Valcamonica is a well known ski center for skiers all over the world. There are many places especially designed for skiing. Here you find all possibilities, from small and romantic villages up to big established and well known ski resorts.
Valcamonica has brought up famous skiers such as the sisters Nadia and Elena Fanchini - italian champions - and Carla Occhi - participant of the cross country world championship.
To be highly recommended are the areas "Adamello Ski" (more than 100 km alpine ski runs which connect the Tonale Pass with Temù and Ponte di Legno, including Presena glacier), Borno, Corteno Golgi (Aprica pass) and Monte Campione.
All these skiing areas are equipped with modern chairlifts and cabinlifts, magnetic liftcards, snowbord and skiing schools, practice areas for the first steps, rentals for ski, slides and skibobs or other equipment.
